I am a creative producer with 15 years of interdisciplinary experience in the arts in Berlin, Los Angeles, London and now Vancouver. I enjoy working with adventurous artists to facilitate and support the development, creation and presentation of their work, particularly new and ambitious projects. I work across art forms, but specialise in contemporary music.

Bio

Since October 2019 I have been based in Vancouver, where I combine freelance project work in the arts with leading the Producer Team at the creative technology studio ngx, creating digital and physical experiences for museums, science centres, and other community-focused venues.
​I moved to Canada from London, where I worked most recently at the music publishers Wise Music Classical as Creative Manager (Venues and Festivals) in the international promotions team, working closely with award-winning composers such as Jocelyn Pook and John Luther Adams. Before this, I spent a year with Sound and Music as a Creative Project Leader, managing artist development projects for composers in collaboration with partners that included BBC Radio 3, the Paraorchestra, and Sage Gateshead.
I lived in In Los Angeles from 2014-2016, where I helped launch the city’s newest contemporary art museum, The Broad. There I was responsible for planning and producing the museum’s inaugural year of public programming 2015-2016, which included music, film, performance art, happenings, talks, family programming and education series.
Berlin was my home for a decade before this. I spent five years with the Berliner Festspiele as a festival producer for MaerzMusik – Festival of Contemporary Music and Musikfest Berlin – international orchestral festival, run jointly with the Berlin Philharmonic Foundation. Before leaving the Berliner Festspiele to move to Los Angeles, I worked as production assistant on the only German performances of the 2014 revival production of Robert Wilson and Philip Glass’ seminal opera, Einstein on the Beach.
I began my career in the arts as an artist manager and booking agent to DJs and electronic music producers. I studied French and German at the University of Nottingham (BA Hons) and continue to enjoy languages and exploring foreign cultures.
